DIPLOMA IN X-RAY TECHNICIAN

Usually, an X-ray technician is associated with entry-level practitioners within the medical field. Preparing patients for an X-ray process by explaining every step of the test and instructing the patient to remove jewelry, clothing, and any other items that could obstruct the X-ray from passing through the body is the main duty of X-ray technicians. They’re then required to properly position the patient to capture the best possible image of the affected region. Additionally, they adjust the equipment to focus on the particular region of the body as needed.

Beyond these core tasks, X-ray Technicians are responsible for maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring radiation safety standards, and keeping accurate patient records. They collaborate closely with radiologists to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Technicians must demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and empathy to ensure patient comfort. Their expertise contributes significantly to accurate diagnosis and effective medical treatment planning.
